I'm kind of frustrated by the west's double standards for women. I don't like how i'm expected to put all this time and energy to look good, while men are excused from this duty. don't get me wrong, i love, love putting on make up and doing my hair, but I think it's shit that men are allowed to look like shit without an issue. uh, how about no.

ReplyDeletei know! i find this to be especially prominent in the US. in europe, there are expectations for men to look presentable. in the states, there's almost this mentality that if a man takes care of himself, he must be gay. i don't care for that kind of mindset at all.
