Woo! I got a new toy so that of course, means new review time. This week I purchased Lelo's Mia in pink from the shop I trust (it also comes in a purple color). Mia is meant to be used clitorally but can also be used on the erogenous regions as well. It could be used vaginally, but personally, I didn't derive a lot of pleasure from it. Do not use this anally as there is no flared base.

What is Mia made of and what does she look like?
Mia's body is made of food grade, latex free, non-porous, phthalates free, hypo allergenic plastic. The button pad is made of silicone. She is very hard and has no give.
Mia comes in two parts; the body and the head. The body has the motor, the button pad and the USB charging port. The head is tipped and is to be attached to the body by inserting it over the USB port. The head also has Lelo written in small, gray letters. The nice thing about the body is that it looks like a very feminine thumb drive, which is great for those who want to keep their sex toys discreet. When the head is attached, it could pass for a very small back massager. Nothing about it screams sex toy.
How do you clean Mia?
Mia is made of plastic and silicone which means it can be cleaned with favorite toy cleaner or soap and water. It can also be cleaned by wiping down with isopropynol alcohol. Because Mia has a motor, do not boil it or stick in the dish washer. It is compatible with all waterbased lubes.
How big and strong is Mia?
Mia is pretty small; she's about 4 1/4 inches long with an insertable length of 1 1/2 inches. It has a circumference of 2 3/4 inches and a diameter 7/8 inches. It weighs about 0.1 lbs. This is great for anyone who wants a strong clitoral vibrator but without being Hitachi sized.
Mia comes with a lot of options when it comes to power; to turn it on, press on the plus button and you will reach a medium power intensity. To turn it lower, press the minus sign. How is Mia packaged?
Mia will come to you in black box with a cardboard cover over it. The cover is pink with Lelo written on the front and has a white background with some information about the toy on the back. The black box is very classy and is a sturdier material; it sort of reminds me a cheaper jewelry box. That also has Lelo written on the front. It opens up to show your toy in two pieces on a hard plastic insert (if you take care of it, it should last for a while). When you remove the insert, there is a small satin bag for your toy, some instructions, the charging port (if you don't want to charge it just by itself, and two inserts about the amazing ten year warranty your toy has.
What did you think of the Mia?
I've been looking for an exclusive clitoral toy, and I think I've found it. It meets all my needs- super discreet, doesn't make my hands go numb, small, pink and powerful. I've also wanted to try a Lelo product but didn't really have a lot of money to drop this time around. It has a kick ass warranty, which to be honest, is totally worth the extra dollars that I spent.
